Terms And Conditions

By booking an advert, the Advertiser, meaning the client or person/s making the booking with the Publisher meaning “ACE Business Solutions Group Ltd trading as The Ponty Pages”, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions as outlined below.

  1. The Advertiser (the person, firm or company purchasing Advertising Services for themselves or their clients) is responsible for obtaining necessary permission or authority to use any images or text in their advertisement, including any materials provided to the Publisher for design work. Any images sourced by the Publisher will sourced and licenced appropriately.

  2. All advertisements must comply with current applicable legislation, regulation and codes of practice. The Advertiser agrees to indemnify the Publisher in case of legal action arising from the publication of the advertisement.

  3. To guarantee inclusion in a specific edition, the Advertiser must submit their copy by the 20th day of the month. The Advertiser is responsible for approving all artwork and the Publisher will not be held responsible for errors that have not been pointed out for correction. A soft proof will be provided by email and the Advertiser must approve in writing by email.

  4. The Publisher reserves the right to amend publication dates or refuse any advertisements at any time.

  5. Payment for all advertisements is due before printing. The Publisher reserves the right to withdraw advertisements if payment has not been received by the 20th of the month – unless a credit account has been approved and opened by the Publisher’s Management.

  6. Late payments passed 30 days may lead to the account being passed to an external collection agency and may incur additional fees.

  7. You may pay by card, bank transfer or cheque. If you pay by card, we will ask permission to securely store your card details for ease of booking or payment for the next issue on a pre-agreed date, not later than the due date detailed on the invoice.

  8. Advertising rates are subject to change at any time. Block bookings that have been paid in full will not be affected, but new bookings will. To receive the best rates, block bookings must be paid for in full before the first advertisement is printed. Changes to individual or block advertisements will result in a surcharge equal to the current rate.

  9. The Publisher may occasionally offer last-minute, one-off discounted rates, but availability and terms are at the discretion of the Advertiser.

  10. The Publisher does not guarantee specific placement of an advertisement unless a premium has been paid.

  11. Any advertisement that appears to contain editorial content will have the word “Advertisement” next to it.

  12. In case of publication delays due to external factors affecting the Publisher or other parties involved in production, such as designers or printers, the Publisher will strive to maintain a reasonable timeframe for distribution, but cannot guarantee a specific date.

  13. In case of errors or omissions by the Publisher, the Advertiser will be entitled to either a re-insertion or a proportionate refund. This does not include errors caused by misprints on artwork, which are the responsibility of the Advertiser to point out before printing. This also includes late notification of changes where the Advertiser advises without viewing the artwork.

  14. Artwork created by the Publisher for the Advertiser remains the property of the Publisher. The Advertiser may purchase the artwork for an agreed upon fee.

  15. To allow sufficient time for the resale of reserved space, the Advertiser must provide written notice (email is acceptable but must be acknowledged by the Publisher) of cancellation by the 15th day of the month. If the Advertiser cancels partway through an agreed advertising package, the Publisher will surcharge previous advertisements to match the standard rate. No refunds will be made on prepaid packages. The Advertiser reserves the right to cancel a package at any time, giving reasonable notice (unless subject to events outside of the Publisher’s control). In this case, the refunded rate of any unpublished advertisements will be at the package rate.

  16. In the event of force majeure, the Advertiser may cancel the advertising package without penalty.
